You need Acrobat Reader to read the newsletter files on this page.  If you do not have the reader, you may download it from Adobe at no cost.  Just click on the button at the end of this line and follow the instructions.  getacro.gif (712 bytes)

Click on the button and your browser will take you to the Adobe website page that will allow you to download and install the free program. On the Adobe website page you will see boxes labeled Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3. In Step 1, are three small boxes for entering information. Each has a pulldown menu accessed by clicking on the box or on the down arrow on the right of the box. The only box you need to worry about is the one labeled "Platform." You need to indicate in this box the type of operating system you have on your computer (Window 95, MAC, LINUX, etc.). When you do, the information in Step 3 should automatically change to what is appropriate for your computer. In Step 2 fill in your name and e-mail address. If you do not want to receive advertising from Adobe or others, click the small boxes at the bottom of Step 2 to uncheck them. After you have complete Steps 1-3, click on the download button at the bottom of the page. When the download is complete, the program will begin to install itself on your computer and will become a plug-in for your browser. Just follow the onscreen directions. Once that is done, anytime in the future that you open a PDF file, whether you are online or not, the Adobe Reader will automatically open.
